Like many families their
situation changed and wanted to take advantage of the soon to be expiring
Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act if at all possible. Because they did not
have real strong hardship they delayed initiating the Short Sale Process until it was almost too

exception. With December 31st rapidly approaching and no extension to the MFDRA
and no approval we were all more than just a little nervous to say the least.

as the MFDRA was extended. What a great day for this young couple. What a great
way for them to start the year. They are now less than 30 days away from
closing the escrow and getting a fresh start to their financial lives. Was it a
slam dunk CalHFA
Short Sale – No. Did we have to work hard to get it done –
absolutely. But in the end all that hard work paid off and we are proud to be a
part of helping these great folks
