New Lease to Keep Short Sale Program Announced

A new “Lease to Keep” program was announced recently by a local West Sacramento Non-profit. In essence the program allows you to short sale your West Sacramento home and lease it back for three years. If at the end of the three years you have met all program guidelines you may be able to assume the loan and return to home ownership.

   

Now like in any program there are guidelines and restrictions including but not limited to; Your West Sacramento home must qualify, you must have attempted a loan and been denied, you must be delinquent on your home loan, you must have sufficient income to support the rental payment and your lender must agree to allow you to remain in possession of the property after close of escrow.
