Now we have talked about the Fannie Mae Help site on more than one occasion but the KnowYourOptions.com has under gone some recent updates that warrant mentioning.

Under the “Options to Stay in Your Home” tab Fannie Mae has information on refinancing, a repayment plan, forbearance, loan modification including a modification calculator and options finder and their “Deed for Lease” program which in essence they foreclose on the property and let you rent back your own house….

Under the “Options to leave Your Home” tab, Fannie Mae covers West Sacramento Short Sale, HAFA Short Sale, Deed in Lieu and foreclosure.
